At night, or on foggy days, this becomes the gathering place where you can curl up with a good book or just enjoy fire gazing. The large windows look out on the ocean. Keep binoculars handy - at the right time of year, you can see whales in migration. The entertainment center provides satellite TV, stereo and a VCR. Gualala Video, only a 10-minute drive, has the best selection of tapes in the north coast. The Games Cupboard is under the counter by the phone and offers a selection of board games.

Kitchen and Dining Area

The kitchen is small but adequate. It is equipped with a toaster, microwave, two kinds of coffee makers, a good selection of new "Circulon cookware" and an automatic dishwasher with a beautiful ocean view from the kitchen window.
